Dr Giuseppe Femia is a compassionate interventional cardiologist dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centred care using cutting-edge techniques.

​Dr Femia graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School with Honours before completing cardiology training at Wollongong and Liverpool Hospitals. He then completed three further years of sub-speciality fellowship training at Liverpool Hospital in interventional cardiology and cardiac device implantation.

Dr Femia is passionate about research and teaching, with significant academic contributions and peer reviewed publications. He completed his PhD in Medicine from the University of Sydney and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow, being mentored by a world-renowned expert in cardiac magnetic resonance.  He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Western Sydney University.

Dr Femia has special interest in:

  • Chest pain and shortness of breath
  • Heart attacks and coronary artery disease 
  • Heart rhythm abnormalities 
  • Coronary angiography 
  • Cardiac device implantation (pacemakers and defibrillators)

Dr Femia has admitting rights at Campbelltown Hospital and Sydney South West Private Hospital.
